As a woman with lived experience, I am passionate about the work we are doing each and every day at Success Works. I strive everyday to provide a safe space for women to come when seeking support around employment. I know firsthand the impact that gaining employment can have when trying to rebuild your life.
I’m often humbled by the feedback we receive from inspiring candidates, like Lizzie*, who recently shared this message with me:
“Just wanted to send a message of appreciation for today. I appreciate your time and patience. You had a lovely, approachable phone manner. I struggle with trust over the phone, but you made me feel comfortable, so I am truly grateful.”
Having been with Success Works for almost a year now, I come to work every day with the goal of empowering women to showcase their skills and potential to employers, focusing on their abilities rather than their record.
Receiving direct feedback like this from participants provides me further drive and determination to continually show up for them and do everything in my power to support these women in reaching their full potential and help them break through barriers to reach their goals!
I look forward to a future with Success Works where I can help as many women as possible on their recovery journey.
