Meet the team

Kerrie Sheaves
CEO

Kerrie leads the Success Works Partners team as CEO. With over 25 years in business leadership, her experience includes working in and for Australian corporates, small businesses and not-for-profit organisations. She also serves on several NFP Boards and Business Chamber executives. Kerrie’s role is to create collaborative partnerships and relationships, and grow the capacity and capability of our teams, as we deliver our mission to serve women.


Kathlin Armstrong
Business Manager

Kat has almost 10 years of lived experience with the justice system as an ex-prisoner and ex-drug user. Whilst in prison, Kat commenced a law degree and started mentoring other women prisoners. In 2007 Kat co-founded the organisation, Women in Prison Advocacy Network (WIPAN) and was the driving force behind its successful development and operation. Kat was the CEO/Director for 8 years, facilitated the training of over 160 volunteer mentors and secured recurrent funding. WIPAN is now known as the Women’s Justice Network (WJN).

Juanita Schaffa De Mauri
Administration Officer

After a period of low self worth found Juanita incarcerated, she realised she had no choice but to overhaul her life if she was to succeed. She accessed the necessary services to help her move forward, obtained her Certificate IV in Community Services, and after a brief period work placement with Success Works, was offered the role of Peer Support Co-ordinator. Juanita is passionate about removing the stigma of a criminal record, and allowing women affected by the justice system to live their best lives possible through self-improvement.

Gemma Kollios
Mentor Manager

Gemma has valuable experience in system management, customer service and has a proven track record of formulating successful systems and processes. Gemma’s role is to oversee the mentoring program, match mentors with mentees, and provide ongoing support to ensure a successful mentoring experience. She is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of women who have been affected by the criminal justice system. 



Kylie Chambers
Candidate Support Officer

Through overcoming the mountain of challenges she was personally faced with Kylie gained valuable lived experience of DV, Addiction, Child Protection involvement and the criminal justice system. Kylie has gained a wealth of knowledge of available supports and how to navigate services to ensure our candidates have the best chances of successfully gaining employment. Kylie has completed a Cert IV in community services with electives in Mental health and AOD. As our Candidate Support Officer she is determined to assist as many women as possible to regain control of their own future through employment and financial independence.
